Fender® Australia Company History

The name “Fender®”, is synonymous with Rock–N–Roll and legendary electric guitars electric basses, and amplifiers (including the Telecaster® and Stratocaster®) that continue to be highly prized by today’s musicians and collectors.

Fender Australia Pty Limited was established in 1978. In 1985 it became the exclusive supplier of Fender® products throughout Australia, PNG, Fiji and New Caledonia. Fender Australia’s quality range has grown to include Gretsch, Jackson® and Guild® guitars, and SWR® amplification Fender® guitar and amplification accessories and spare parts, including Floyd Rose and Hipshot. Fender Australia’s products include the revolutionary Passport® PA System.

Fender Australia strives to enhance the musical experiences of all who use or aspire to own Fender Australia’s products. Its staff includes a wide range of music enthusiasts ranging in interest from true guitar tragics to easy listening devotees.

Fender Australia has a nation wide network of authorised Fender® Dealers. Dealers who have been pre–qualified for their knowledge, enthusiasm and ability to deliver. All are kept constantly updated about Fender Australia’s product range and developments. These principles carry through to Fender Australia’s network of Authorised Service Technicians, technical experts, who are ready to serve the needs of musicians.
